This blog started out as a journal of our journey as we transformed an average mid-century house into our dream family home.  Over the years it has evolved into a blog with a distinct approachable yet modern design aesthetic, with some kid stuff sprinkled along for good measure.

Why RE:Located Living?  For several reasons.  Relocated implies a move and we not only moved into a new home, but we recently left Los Angeles after more than 13 years.  We have essentially relocated. But “RE: Located” means that the subject matter is about finding something, locating it. I spend time locating designs that resonate with my life and hopefully yours.  Lastly, relocating means a lot to me personally because I have moved around A LOT in my life.  I have lived in many of the world’s major metropolises including New York, Rome, London, Los Angeles, Paris, San Francisco and Sydney.  As a result, I’ve had a lot of experience in relocating and finding a new life.  The other consequence of all this moving around is that the notion of “Home” is very powerful to me, as it has always been so very fleeting.

Thank you for being a part of this adventure.

Grace - Hello,

Thanks for sharing the photos and details of your kitchen renovation. I’d like to do a similar renovation in my San Francisco home, but would like to consult with someone about how best to maximize the space and storage in my kitchen. Are you available for this kind of consultation?

radmin - Hi Grace,

Thanks for stopping by and for your interest in my services. I’ll send you a private message.
