DIY: Ombre Easter Banner

ReLocatedLiving_Ombre_Banner07 copy

We are going to be hosting a little Easter Egg Hunt at the house in a couple of weeks, hence the Easter Inspiration Board I put together.  I’ve been looking around for a cool banner that captures the vibrant colors of my inspiration board.  I couldn’t find anything on etsy that really suited my needs, so I decided to make my own.  Bonus for you, I’ve turned it into a free printable, so that you too can have a cool modern ombré easter banner.

For this banner, I was really inspired by the punchy colors of the dip-dyed eggs from here, but I felt that the banner would benefit from the softness of an ombré effect.

What you will need:

1) download my printable

2) quality white cardstock or matte photo paper

3) scissors or paper cutter

4) hole puncher

5) ribbon or twine

I like to use matte photo paper because I think the colors are more saturated.  For ribbon, I used left overs I had from a previous project.  Since I already had the paper and ribbon, I think my total cost for the banner was $0!  Love it when things work out that way and look great too.

Enjoy the printable and don’t forget to like my page on Facebook and follow me on Instagram and Pinterest.  I’d love to hear from you.

Note: Since there is some image clipping that occurs with full bleed images when printing with most printers, the printable here is sized to 5″x7″ cards so that clipping should not be an issue.
