Remember A Room with a View, that film from the 80’s? Or more accurately, the book written by E. M. Forster. I loved the book and loved the film. Yet, I’m not the sort of person who normally gushes at views. I don’t go hiking in search of the best vista points. Needless to say, a view was not a top priority when we were house hunting. That said, when we bought our house we got a view. Not a sweeping view of the Bay the way that some houses have, but a no less gorgeous view.
I am constantly in awe of the breathtaking canvases that get created in front of our windows. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably caught a few of these images, but I thought I’d share them here:
Early Morning Fog:
For the record, these pictures are straight out of the camera, no filters, no retouching but 100% stunning. When I say camera, I’m being generous, these were all taken with my iPhone.
Every time I catch these beautiful sights I feel incredibly blessed and also completely at peace with the world.
…I may just become a view person after all.
