For a long time wall hangings were kinda 70’s in a not-so-cool-retro way, but wall hangings have been reinterpreted for the modern aesthetic. The techniques are still the same, but I think that the use of texture and pattern have given them a fresh new life, while retaining their boho sensibility.

Before jumping to some of my favorite wall hangings you can buy, you can find some cool DIY options here and here. Here are hangings you can buy, some are one of a kind, others can be purchased at your local chain store.
After looking at all these beauties I think I need to find the just the right spot to feature one in my living space redo. Who knows, maybe I’ll even try making one. Making one looks kinda therapeutic and I’m desperately in need of finding a little more Zen in my life.
